Base your Provence holiday in this memorable B&B

JSG Editors
June 1, 2023

Provence is the perfect summer getaway. If your vacation dreams include playing petanque at dusk, wandering outdoor markets, visiting some of France’s best museums and lounging poolside, La Belugue is the perfect base to explore the south of France.

Best known for its charming bed and breakfast, cooking classes, and wine bar, La Belugue also offers wellness and educational retreats throughout the year. Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Beaumont-de-Pertuis, La Belugue is surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Parc Naturel de Luberon and the ideal location for exploring the region. Positioned where the Vaucluse, Var, Bouches-du- Rhone & Alpes de Haut-Provence regions meet, the property is within 30 minutes of the culturally vibrant Aix-en- Provence, the beautiful villages and wine trails of the region, and within a stones’ throw of the iconic lavender fields of Provence. The venue is perfectly situated for incredible biking and hiking experiences or to simply savor the local tranquility poolside.

La Belugue was founded in 2016 by French-American couple Kelly Goehler and Philippe Pellegrin. The pair met serendipitously as expats in Singapore where travel, nature, and culinary adventures quickly became shared passions. Upon return to Philippe’s homeland, the duo discovered their 18th century Luberon farmhouse and knew it was the ideal location to nurture their mutual passions. It would also serve as the perfect venue for Kelly to share the southern hospitality instilled during her Tennessee youth with tourists looking to explore picturesque Provence. As a graduate of Gastronomicom Culinary School in France and a certified yoga instructor, Kelly incorporates these skills into La Belugue’s immersive retreats and Provençal cooking classes.

La Belugue features three welcoming guest rooms, each beautifully decorated with Provençal charm and equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast made with fresh local ingredients every morning on the terrace overlooking the garden. In the evenings, they can relax in the cozy lounge or sample some of the region’s finest wines at La Belugue‘s wine bar.

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo adventure, La Belugue has something for everyone. You can join one of their themed retreats or customize your own itinerary based on your interests and preferences. You can also book a private cooking class with Kelly and learn how to make some of the most mouthwatering dishes from Provence using seasonal produce and herbs from their own garden.

La Belugue is more than just a place to stay; it’s a place to experience. It’s a place where you can immerse yourself in the culture, history, and beauty of Provence. It’s a place where you can connect with nature, yourself, and others. It’s a place where you can create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discover one of France’s most enchanting regions with La Belugue as your guide. Book your stay today and get ready for an amazing adventure!
